Hi! I'm Ani. I'm a recent UPenn graduate and current Recurse Center participant/resident (Spring 2, 2026 batch, Mar 30 - Jun 26) interested in machine learning, prediction markets, scientific computing, sports modeling, biophysics, geography, linguistics, and a bunch of other stuff.
This blog is really just a collection of notes on things I'm building and stuff I'm interested in.
What I'm working on:
- UFC fight prediction/betting model - building and trading using a machine learning model for UFC fight outcomes, with calibration, bankroll sizing, and prediction market integration (Polymarket and Kalshi).
- Prediction market tooling - exploring fair odds, order books, market making, and automated alerts for event markets.
- Arkved's Atlas - a recommendation system for atmospheric locations in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
- Technical writing - notes from my time at Recurse Center, machine learning experiments, programming projects, previous industry and academic experience, and really just anything else that's interesting to me.
Things I write about:
Machine learning, scientific computing, trading systems, prediction markets, biophysics, drug discovery, sports modeling, games, linguistics, cartography, puzzles, and a bunch of other stuff.
